KING 810: Sex, Gunn, & Rock 'N Roll; An Interview with David Gunn

Image
by Traci Leone             Enigmatic frontman David Gunn talked to FRICTION about his new PornHub exclusive music video for La Petite Mort, sex and violence in Flint, equality and being considered a sex symbol.       Intense and often violent music videos are a reflection of KING 810’s style. Unabashedly telling the world about their lives in Flint. The video for La Petite Mort falls into place, reflecting la petite mort or ‘The Little Death’, an otherwise indescribable moment of orgasm.  The video, also directed by Gunn, is shot beautifully. A lovely tangle of women progresses with the song into a full out orgy. King 810 is the first to ever incorporate on-screen sex in an 8-minute long music video.  ”When we were in the studio making the song we were trying to put together the ethos of what the song looks and feels like... This was kind of always the plan since we recorded it. We didn’t necessarily know how we were going to make it happen or if we were going to

Sex Position of the Month - June 2017

Image
Spooning Spooning is one of the “cuddliest” of all the positions, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it intense. You lie on your side, with your partner in front of you, facing away. Enter her from behind, and then both of you can control the pace and depth of thrusting. The position is comfortable, for longer sexual sessions with a lot of sensual touching and kissing of the back of the neck. You can also get quite handsy and reach around the play with her nipples or even reach down and add extra stimulation to her clitoris from the front. You can also make it anal.

Pole Trick of the Month - June 2017

Elbow Stand 1. Go down on the floor in front of the pole. 2. Bring your forearms closer to grab the pole with both hands or just lace your fingers together.   3. Create a triangle putting the elbows shoulder’s width apart and your head between your forearms. 4. Go into a V position. 5. When bringing your legs towards the pole, bend one and extend the other one.

Video Game Review for June 2017 - by Ericca M.

Like most lovers of the horror video game genre, I was pretty excited when Illfonic annouced that they were working on a Friday the 13th project. They weren’t too specific with the details at first, but one fact about the game that they did reveal to the public right away was that players would be allowed to play as Jason. Now for those of you that don’t remember, there was a Friday the 13th game released back in the 1980’s and as you can imagine it was very pixel heavy with bright puke green and blue backgrounds. Jason basically resembled a bobblehead LEGO monster, the soundtrack was straight from a Casio keyboard...I could go on and on. However, this updated version is truly frightening. I loved the fact that I could play as either Jason or a camp counselor. Of course, playing the game as a counselor was a lot more frightening than playing as the iconic killer. My first round lasted about seven minutes before I was impaled with a rod...definitely not my best gaming perfor

Artist Spotlight: Pauly Everett

Image
Pauly Everett graced the Friction crew with his presence during our photo shoot for the June issue. He used his fantastic, creative skills to paint the models using our idea of a summer festival theme. Not only is he very talented, he is also very driven, pretty cool to be around and despite the amount of naked women that were parading around him, he remained professional the entire time. Color us impressed. Pauly M. Everett is a former student of Mott Community College and a current student of a thing called survival, practicing the arts of mixed-media painting, up-cycled arts, sculpture, printmaking, and illustration. Spending his days creating art in Flint, Michigan he also can be found curating during the monthly Flint Artwalks. Pauly’s creative works can be spotted in the Metro Detroit Area and beyond. You can also find his work on the web at Facebook.com/FLINTUNDERGROUNDKID on Instagram @flintundergroundkid ALL ARTZ ALL DAY.

Sex Toy Review for June 2017 - by Allie K.

There are so many personal massagers on the market that are either too dull, too boring, or they are so intense that you end up becoming overstimulated and can’t cum to fruition, literally. However, this IMO massager is fucking magical. Not only is it rechargeable, but it’s also mind-numbingly powerful. Whether you enjoy light stimulation or prefer the power of a boat motor on your bits, this wand is bound to please you.      Are you afraid of commitment? Do you like to mix things up every once in a while? No worries, there are 7 different speeds and pulsations to choose from. Personally? My favorite setting is the one that continuously throbs until you orgasm uncontrollably.        Need to switch it up even more? There are three silicone head attachments that are flexible and easy to clean! The attachment that looks like a silicone toothbrush will make you feel anything but clean, it is absolutely life changing.      Just like all things in life, there are definitely a

Michigan Foodie - June 2017 - by Ben Horner

As a former Chef, food is very important to me. They say the fastest way to a mans heart is thru his stomach, and for me that is most definitely true. This month my partner and I checked out the eats at The Coliseum, on good old 8 mile in Detroit. The Coliseum has an energy that pulses creating a true high class club atmosphere. The menu is filled with a wide variety of mouth watering classics, and reminds me of country club fare. There cigar menu is the most extensive I’ve seen yet, and the bartenders know how to pour. We started with the bruschetta and tomato basil soup. Both were excellent, however the my buddy is 100% Italian and he insists the bruschetta was over cooked. But we both agreed the tomatoes basil relish was spot on. The house cabernet paired nicely with my grilled succulent lamb chops which happened to be on special for $17. 8 ounces center-cut filet served with a unique loaded mashed and fresh sautéed garlicky green beans. Both dishes where cooked properly. W

GHOST IN THE SHELL (2017) Rated: PG-13 Run Time: 1h 47min Genre: Action, Crime, Drama Release Date: 31 March 2017 (USA) Directed by  Rupert Sanders Writing Credits:  Shirow Masamune (Creator of the  comic version:  “The Ghost in the Shell”)  Jamie Moss (screenplay) William Wheeler (screenplay) Ehren Kruger (screenplay)          Ghost in the Shell is a prolific franchise in Japanese pop culture—there’s a manga, several anime series and OVAs, and now an American live action adaptation. Essentially with this newest iteration, the “ghost” or spirit of the series has been transferred into a new shell--exactly like the cybernetic main protagonist Major. The film takes place in an unspecified future Japan where computers and robotic augments have been assimilated into the general populace. I found the setting felt more like a globalized Japan that incorporates some Western elements than a strictly traditional version. Major (Scarlett Johansson) is a cyborg poli

Free Love; Then, Now and in the Future - by Starla Knight

Image
As sexual beings, we’ve certainly had our ups and downs in the department of free love throughout the centuries.  Swinging from periods where free loved flowed just as naturally as all of the rivers and streams to eras of dusty riverbeds and desert like missionary monogamy, humans have experienced great floods and devastating droughts of sexual freedom.  We’re currently experiencing a re-emergence of the free love scene, but what does that mean? Where have we been and what will the oceans and seas of free love offer in the future?     Yes, we’ve had our moments of free love. And if images of flower power and the psychedelic graphics of the 60’s and 70’s limit your historical view of sexual revolutions let me briefly remind you of public bath houses throughout Greece and the extravagantly planned orgies of the Roman Empire, just to mention a few.  Before the rise of monotheistic religions, free love was accepted and often encouraged for thousands of years.      Once monothei

Legalized Marijuana in Michigan, For Real this Time? - by Ben Horner

Image
The petition to legalize marijuana for adult use in Michigan, drafted by the Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol (CRMLA), was approved by the Board of Canvassers last month. Similar to the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act of 2008, this petition is spearheaded by the Marijuana Policy Project, the preeminent cannabis lobbying group based in Washington DC. Local leaders joined the coalition after last years botched grassroots effort failed to gather enough signatures in the allotted time frame needed to be placed on the ballot in 2016. Signature gatherers will have a six-month window to gather 252,523 valid signatures and turn  them into the state.  Once submitted, the state can either adopt new legalization, or it will go to the voters on the 2018 gubernatorial election ballot. Polling indicates that the majority of Michiganders support taxing and regulating marijuana. “Prohibition didn’t work with alcohol and it has clearly failed with marijuana as well,” said Coalition to

Fact or FRICTION? - June 2017

Unicorn Friday           My guy and I met up after work one Friday, at our favorite bar to celebrate me getting a promotion at work.  I admit I might have had a martini or two more than usual when we had agreed to take our two-person party to the local gentlemen’s club around the corner.  I also admit that this wasn’t the first Friday we ended up at such clubs, but this was the first time we had agreed to try and find a pretty girl to come back to our apartment with us.         We found an open U-shaped booth along the side wall and ordered another round of drinks when I noticed a hot woman slowly making her way between the tables on the other side of the catwalk.  She had blond hair that fell in long waves to the middle of her back.  She had on a lovely little black tank dress on, that showed off her athletic frame, her lovely rack and her perfect round ass.      She carried a small clutch handbag in her hands and a shall over her arm.  She didn’t appear to be part of th

On the War Path War Machine’s sentencing date has been postponed to June 5 due to the extreme number of convictions that his attorneys must address. His lawyers, Jay Leiderman and Brandon Sua, were granted the new sentencing date to prepare for the 29 out of 34 charges War Machine was found guilty of back in March. These include six Class A felonies all stemming from the August 2014 attack on former partner and porn star, Christy Mack. Mack was brutally beaten by War Machine, whose birth name is Jonathan Koppenhaver, and had to undergo months extensive surgeries to repair the damage he caused to her face and body including a damaged liver. The former MMA fighter overpowered Mack and her friend, nearly killing her and earning himself an attempted murder charge amongst the others. Christy Mack bravely testified against him, helping secure his jury conviction. _________________________________________________________________ Hunger Games 30-year-old Maryland native, Conrad

David Gunn’s Advice For Choosing Music For Your Next Orgy “You can’t treat every scenario the same so... when you get a different combination of people it’s just like when you go to a certain club and the DJ’s playing this kind of thing and you go to a different club and he’s playing this other type of thing so it’s circumstantial. You have to really understand what’s going on. I hate to say this, because it’s the answer no one cares about, but you have to give it some thought. You don’t want to freak anyone out... the last thing you want is some shit playing that only one person in the room wants to hear, pissing everyone else off. You don’t want to fuck with the vibe it’s a sacred thing.” “When you get a large group of people together and those types of things are happening if you decide to put on music it always tends to be a mix of things. This is what came to mind in one particular scenario.” NIN - Further Down the Spiral  Death Grips - Exmilitary Pimp C - Pimpalation
