Dennis Hof Found Dead at 72
Hof, who was 72 years old, owned several legal bordellos in the Sagebrush State. Hof reportedly went to sleep on the night of October 15 and didn’t wake up.
A tweet from Hof’s campaign manager, Chuck Muth, informed followers of Hof’s passing; “I just confirmed with Nye County sheriff’s deputy that Dennis Hof passed away this morning. No other details at this point. I’m heading out to Love Ranch Vegas now,”
Muth also tweeted that Ron Jeremy was the one who discovered Hof’s body after going into his room to wake him up for a meeting.
The body was discovered shortly before 11 a.m. Officials are stating that there were no signs of foul play.
Hof was running for Nevada Assembly and seemed in good spirits during a Monday night campaign rally, according to his campaign manager.
“We had a wonderful event last night. He was having the time of his life last night. Grover Norquist was there. Ron Jeremy was there. He was given a rescue dog as a birthday present. He was having the time of his life,” Muth told the Gazette Journal.
The “Art of the Pimp” author mounted a Donald Trump-style campaign. He shocked political observers over the summer when he bested a Republican incumbent in a state primary for the southern Nevada district.
Due to Nevada election law, he’ll still be listed on the ballot in November, but signs will be posted at polling places in the district alerting voters that he is no longer with us.
If he manages to win, the seat would be considered vacant, Nevada deputy secretary of state for elections Wayne Thorley told the Gazette Journal.
“I’m stunned. This is not the turn I would expect,” Hof’s Democratic opponent, Lesia Romanov, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “My heart goes out to those who care about him. All I can say is wow.”
Hof owned a handful of brothels in Nevada, where prostitution is legal in some counties. He rose to fame in the thanks to HBO’s “Cathouse: The Series,” which chronicled the everyday goings-on in his Moonlite BunnyRanch.

Do or Die
Police responded to a 911 call about a disturbance at a Vero Beach apartment. They arrived at the residence around 3:30 AM Thursday and encountered Katherine Nieves-Tavarez at the front door. Nieves-Tavarez, 27, had blood on her clothing and hands, according to police reports.
Inside the apartment, Nieves-Tavarez’s boyfriend was spotted falling to the floor, his face was covered in blood. When he was asked what happened to him, the man replied, “She hit me with a knife. I can’t see.”
The victim went on to tell officers that Nieves-Tavarez, his live-in girlfriend, had been drinking and asked to have sex, which he declined. The man added that after declining multiple times, Nieves-Tavarez became angry and started screaming at him.
Nieves-Tavarez then allegedly retrieved a large, silver kitchen knife and followed him outside to the patio. There, Nieves-Tavarez allegedly slashed the victim with the knife. When police questioned the man, he had multiple lacerations to his face, a torn shirt, and redness around his neck and chest area. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Nieves-Tavarez was arrested and booked into the county jail on a felony charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She is being held on a $15,000 bond and was scheduled for arraignment on October 31. A judge has ordered her to have no contact with the victim.
Nieves-Tavarez was arrested in April 2017 on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, but that case--which involved the same man--was eventually dismissed by prosecutors.

I Want My Baby Back Ribs
Investigators report that Cale Jymm, 34, stabbed his 35-year-old brother Daniel during a dispute inside a room at the American Inn hotel in Council Bluffs.
Officers responded to a 911 call and found a bloody pocket knife outside of the hotel room door. Inside, Daniel was tending to an abdominal wound. He told cops that he had been arguing with his younger brother over who had eaten the last of the ribs when the beef turned physical.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He told police that he did not want to press charges against his brother. The younger Jymm, however, was arrested on felony and misdemeanor assault charges.
Jymm was held in the Pottawattamie County jail on a $20,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on October 8.
The brothers, who live in New Mexico, moved into the hotel a month prior when they began working at a nearby power plant.

Stormy Under Pressure
Daniels states that, “It was funnier when he wasn’t the president,” Daniels said, referring to their lackluster sexual encounter. She also added that her brief encounter comes “with this undeserved prestige”:
“I actually have Trump supporters come out and get pictures and autographs and just be like, ‘I just want to meet the lady that he picked to have sex with him.’ I’m like, ‘What’s wrong with you?’”
Daniels, a former porn actress, has become a household name after revealing to the world that she let Trump stuff her with his shrimp. She acknowledged she’s gained new fans, but said she’s lost many others. “My old fans were gone, because middle-aged white guys are usually Trump fans,” she said. “And now if you go to one of my shows, it’s large groups of women, often times in homemade matching Stormy shirts. They are loud, and they’re angry. They’re like, ‘Fuck Trump.’ Or they’re crying. I’m like, ‘Jesus Christ.’”
Daniels admitted the crying is a bit disconcerting, and she has become a sounding board for other women. “...women are saying, ‘I was molested or I was raped, and you’ve given me the inspiration to file charges against my boss.’ Just heavy, heavy shit every night,” she said.
Daniels filed a lawsuit against the president to reverse a nondisclosure agreement she said was put in place to silence her about the affair before the 2016 election. “That was the crazy part, because I started this just because I wanted to set the record straight and not be bullied,” she said. “I really just wanted to save my own ass. Now I’m in charge of saving the world. What the fuck? No pressure, Stormy.”
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has sued both Trump and his former attorney Michael Cohen to dissolve the agreement. She’s also suing Cohen and Trump for defaming her.
