HOMOSEXUALITY IS NOW LEGAL IN INDIA
The apex court overturned its own 2013 ruling that the law which criminalized gay sex was not unconstitutional. That decision disregarded a lower court’s 2009 order that the law shouldn’t apply to consensual sex between adults in private.
Until the recent court ruling, India was among more than 70 countries including Afghanistan, Nigeria, Syria, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, where gay sexual acts are considered illegal.
Historically, the law banning gay sex in India was a provision in the Indian penal code that British rulers introduced in 1860. It stated that anyone who has carnal intercourse against the order of nature should be punished with a fine, along with imprisonment.
In a plea to the Supreme Court in 2016, five leading petitioners—a journalist, a chef, a dancer, a hotelier and a business consultant—asked the court to determine that the law was unconstitutional saying it violated their basic human rights to sexuality, sexual autonomy, choice of sexual partner, life, privacy, dignity and equality, along with other fundamental rights that India’s constitution guarantees to all its citizens.

PRIEST LOVE ON OCEAN DRIVE
Officers arrived and arrested Chicago-area priests Diego Berrio, 39, and Edwin Giraldo-Cortez, 30, on lewd and lascivious behavior charges. Giraldo-Cortez also was hit with indecent exposure.
The following afternoon, both remained in jail, Berrio on a $250 bond and Giraldo-Cortez on a $1,500 bond.
According the police reports, the responding officer parked his vehicle and approached the passenger side of the vehicle on foot. He witnessed defendant Berrio in the passenger seat giving some top to defendant Giraldo who was seated in the driver’s seat. Giraldo’s pants were unzipped and everything below his waistline was exposed.
According to the arrest record, his act was occurring in full view of anyone walking on the sidewalk, passing by on Ocean Drive. The officer also stated that they did not notice him until he knocked on the window.
Both of them admitted that they were priests at an address that’s the location for the Mission of San Juan Diego in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a Chicago suburb.

I WAS GETTIN’ SOME HEDGE
A furious gardener is absolutely fed up with drunken passersby pretending to have sex with his hedge.
Keith Tyssen says his “privet lady”, which is shaped like a reclining woman, is constantly being damaged by “disgusting people” who have been climbing on top of her at night.
The gardener reports; “They’re climbing on top of her and pulling her legs apart, you know, it’s disgusting.”
Tyssen says he just peered out at about 4:30 in the morning and there was a guy on top of her hunching, trying to get his rocks off.
He told the BBC : “It makes me feel a bit sick, really because I’m thinking, ‘No, no that’s just not the way to behave - in lots of ways’.”
Mr Tyssen, from Sheffield, has taken pride in sculpting the hedge for 40 years. It started off as a Greek god but Mr Tyssen opted to turn it into a reclining woman in 2000.
Similar incidents have occured previously and he’s now considering putting up a sign or an alarm to curb the behaviour. He added: “It’s not always a guy actually, sometimes it’s women who climb on her. I don’t want them to behave like that with my privet lady. She’s too privet, or private you know?”
Mr Tyssen studied at The Royal College of Art in London in the 1960 and has won awards for his designs.

BUMP AND GRIND
Nikki Pegram has had urges to sleep with multiple men since the bump four years ago, and her boyfriend Marc Gausden, 32, doesn’t mind.
The pair enjoy an open relationship, both flirting and sleeping with other people to fulfill their sexual desires. Full-time mom to seven-year-old Freddie, Nikki says her injury has completely changed her attitude towards sex, and life is so much better.
“Knowing I can have wild sex with a guy then come home to my amazing boyfriend is a dream,” she told the Sun. She and Marc have been together for two years after matching on Tinder in January 2016. Prior to that, Nikki, of Wellingborough, Northants, was in a seven-year monogamous relationship with Freddie’s dad, which ended a year and three months after her accident in October 2014. She was then diagnosed with anterograde amnesia which, just like in the film 50 First Dates, left her unable to retain new information.
After her break up, she rediscovered her love for sex and said it was her “chance to embrace a more adventurous life”. Nikki said she’d never been tempted to stray from her partner because she loved him, but when they broke up the sexual urges she’d “never had before” started. When her and Marc first met, they would sleep together three or four times a week until it developed into a relationship. But Nikki craved attention from other men, so, not wanting to cheat, she consulted Marc on the possibility of having an open relationship.
The pair decided to give it a go, with Nikki saying signing up to dating sites Tinder and Plenty of Fish gave her the excitement she wanted. Marc regularly chats up women in his job as a pub manager, and between them, they have slept with four other people since striking up the agreement. The first person Nikki slept with was an ex boyfriend who “didn’t mind” the situation, and she has a longstanding agreement with a man aged 41, who she meets once a month.
Marc always asks Nikki’s permission to sleep with another woman, which she says she always gives then later asks to hear the details. He doesn’t like to hear everything about Nikki’s romps, but he does vet potential lovers to make sure he trusts them. Nikki says if there is something sexual they don’t want to do together, they find it from another partner. She likes it rough, she says, and when Marc doesn’t want to do that, she seeks it from her alternative lovers. Likewise, he practices BDSM with others.
