Send Me Swingin’

On June 26th, a 19-year-old Georgia man scaled a barbed wire fence, ran across the tarmac at a busy Atlanta airport and pulled himself up onto the wing of a Delta jet. The real debauchery began when he started pounding on the aircraft’s windows as shocked passengers watched from inside.

Jhyrin Jones, 19, was arrested minutes after running up to the airplane, which had just arrived from Miami. Jones had stripped down to his unmentionables and even gestured to passengers while ranting incoherently.

At one point, Jones mounted one of the jet’s wings and began pacing and banging on cabin windows as passengers looked on and took pictures of him.

Jones was apprehended by airport police and charged with trespassing, damage to property, and obstruction of law enforcement. He was also hit with a public indecency count for allegedly exposing his genitals to passengers and crew that were aboard the plane.

Jones’s bond was set at $18,000.

Blame It On The Doggie

A Florida man arrested for drunk driving told responding officers that his dog was at the wheel after he was caught driving recklessly on Interstate 95 outside Port St. Lucie. according to court records.

When cops confronted the driver, they could smell the distinct odor of liquor coming from inside of the vehicle. The motorist, Scott Garrett, 56, was lethargic, slurring his words, and had “red, very glassy, and blood shot” eyes. On the front passenger seat was an open bottle of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum.

Before officers performed a series of field sobriety tests, Garrett asked troopers to give him a ride to his home in Jupiter. Garrett then thought it would be a good idea to pin the reckless driving on a four legged companion. He claimed that he wasn’t driving the vehicle but it was...actually his dog.

Despite Garrett’s airtight alibi, he was arrested for drunk driving. A breath test recorded his blood alcohol content at more than three times the .08 legal limit. According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, Garrett’s rap sheet includes three prior DUI convictions.

Troopers also reported that Garrett was the sole occupant of the Nissan. He was set to appear in court on July 30th.

“You’re Gonna Love Me”

On June 26th, a machete-wielding Montana woman broke into her ex-boyfriend’s home, instructed him to take off his clothes and then forced him to have sex with her, according to police reports.

Samantha Mears, 19, entered the victim’s Great Falls home while he was gone. When the man returned, Mears confronted him from behind with a machete. Mears then allegedly told the man to get on the bed and take off his clothes.

The victim told police that he complied with Mears because he feared for his life. He also added that he did not feel he could leave the room at that time without being hurt by Mears.

After Mears removed her pants, she climbed on top of the victim and they engaged in forced intercourse. The victim said that Mears continued to hold the machete and bit him on the arm and as she continued to have sex with him after he attempted to end the encounter.

The victim told Great Falls police that he had become aroused by seeing her without underwear on. The man added that after ejaculating, he attempted to push Mears off of him to end the intercourse. But she continued to have sex with him until he was no longer erect.

After the intercourse, Mears sat on the bed, still armed with the machete, with her back against the wall, according to the complaint. It was during this time that the victim took several photos of Mears with the machete in her hand. The victim submitted the photos to the police when later interviewed by cops.

After calling 911, the man backed out of the bedroom and escaped his residence.

Mears has been charged with aggravated burglary and assault with a weapon, both felonies. She also faces misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief, assault, and unlawful restraint.

Drive Me Crazy

On June 28th, a woman was arrested on a negligence charge for driving nearly 20 miles with her ex-boyfriend clinging to the hood of her speeding car.

Patresha Isidore, 24, was taken into police custody for exposing Junior Francis, 22, to “risk of injury or death.” Isidore bonded out of custody on the misdemeanor charge.

According to police reports, Isidore and Francis had a dispute that evening as Isidore prepared to leave a Lauderhill residence in a 2010 Mercedes, which happens to be registered to both parties. Francis climbed onto the auto’s hood to prevent Isidore from leaving.

Regardless of that, Isidore began driving on local roads that led her to Interstate 95, where she pulled into the express lane at speed consistent with other traffic.

A fellow motorist recorded Francis holding on for his life as the Mercedes approached 70 mph. Francis’s life threatening ride ended when Isidore pulled up to an intersection, where they were contacted by Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Isidore had “multiple opportunities” to stop the car and call 911, but instead she willfully put the victim in danger by driving the vehicle for a distance of nineteen miles.

Francis told cops that he has a five-year-old daughter with Isidore. He did not want to prosecute his ex and refused to provide a sworn recorded statement.

As he held on to the car with one hand, Francis placed a 911 call, telling a police operator that Isidore was swerving the car while he was on top of the car and that he really needed help.

He Likes It

A Florida man tussled with a cop trying to arrest him for disorderly conduct and reportedly said, as he was being placed into a police car, that he really enjoyed resisting because it was like being on “Live PD.” A patrolman was dispatched yesterday to a home in Sebastian after a 911 caller reported that a man wielding a golf club was chasing a woman.

When an officer arrived, he encountered the suspect. He smelled of booze and was screaming and cursing in front of the home. Grant struggled as the cop sought to handcuff him. Grant tried to pull away from him, tensed his arms and finally made his body go limp. Grant was eventually placed in mechanical restraints that were double-locked.

Grant was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was released from the Indian River county jail after posting $1000 bond .
