A Wednesday at Angels in Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo - Tucked away in a semi-private area surrounded by lush green we found some great eats and treats at Angels Gentleman’s Club of Kalamazoo. We were greeted by Jim, the owner, who spent some quality tutelage time regarding the club industry and how Friction Magazine should approach Michigan.

After starting with an ice cold Heineken, we ordered appetizers; Asian pot stickers served with a rich ginger sauce and traditional loaded potato skins. The menu is largely pub grub, with some Italian specialties and some nice chop house steaks. We were there on on a Wednesday, which is when Angel’s has it’s most delicious and frugal seven ounce grilled filet mignon with zip sauce, starch and veggie for only $10. I was expecting a cheap grade of beef, but I was impressed with the tender center cut steak that literally was cut with fork. You could tell the locals appreciate Angels filet special, by observing the rather posh couples that came in to enjoy a steak and entertainment.

Angels doesn’t skimp on the food or the girls. All the Dancers showed skill and quality, beautiful faces and hot bodies which made for a very satisfying evening. Waitstaff was our only complaint, a little slow on the drink refills, but hey, good things come to those who wait. The whole place was a class act. To top it off the owner and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
