CalExotic’s Luxe


Touch sensitive vibrators have been blowing up the adult toy market for a few years. So, are they all hype or is this trend here to stay? I had the pleasure of testing CalExotic’s Luxe to find out.

The Luxe Touch-Sensitive measures in at 6.5″ of insertable length, with a 1.5″ diameter. It’s coated in a satin-finish matte silicone skin. It features a semi-realistic head. There are no curves and it is very firm. Right off the bat, my vagina wishes for some squish. It is very stiff. Two touch points are located at the midpoint and base of Luxe’s shaft. There are also 10 settings which can be changed by pressing one button located near the base. The charging port is nestled opposite of the control button through the silicone skin. Bonus points for a wide yet thin suction cup base which makes this toy harness compatible.


If you like to ride your toys Luxe could be your new bff. It’s rigid enough to stay erect and smooth enough to not need too much lubricant. The base allows this toy to be stuck to any smooth surface and it’s waterproof so shower play is definitely an option. Although the downside of the firmness is that it can be a bit painful. The entire ride I was really hoping for a more flexible shaft but if you or your partner need a harder toy snag up a Luxe.

The vibrations are quite nice. The deeper rumbles found on the lower settings would have been nice on the higher settings but they are still quite strong! Like, vibrate your entire pelvis to dust strong. I could still feel a lingering vibration for quite a while after my session. However, the touch points seemed to be inconsistent. Instead of ramping up they just went from zero to sixty immediately which is not really my style. I much prefer to start at zero and tease myself to sixty, if I can even make it there.

Overall, despite its firmness and seemingly fickle touch points, CalExotic’s Luxe Touch-Sensitive is a quality vibe with more versatility than your standard toy. Excellent for penetration and powerful enough to curl toes This rechargeable toy should make its way into your toy box for less than $100.  3.8/5
